Alexandros - Sarti

We discovered this restaurant by chance on our day trip to Sarti. We had two starters, grilled sardines and squid, with water and 1/2 liter of white wine for €4, everything was very tasty. For dessert there was a delicious house-made panna cotta. All this for €34, it couldn't be better. Friendly service and nice ambience on the beach with a view of Mount Athos. Service: Dine in

Nothing exceptional. Restaurant was well patronised I'd been recommended so gave it a try Starter course arrived with the main, who wants this? In Greece I've noticed 2 types of grilled cheese, rubbery that squeaks teeth when chewing nicer type that doesn't, this was the former. Moussaka was purely that, a not especially tasty slice of dish, no garnish, no attempt to make the plate appealing, thankfully I'd ordered a salad to accompany which was lovely. Good value, but plenty of room for improvement

A good fish restaurant that also offers meat dishes. Price/performance is top. You have to read the menu carefully. There you will be informed that €0.50 per person is charged for the bread. Likewise for the immediately served bottle of water €1.50 Nevertheless, the food is highly recommended. The waiter seemed a bit listless, but became friendlier over time.
