I got the carnitas plate and they we... read more The BEST Mexican restaurant I've been to in Minnesota. Truly authentic, old school Mexican food, like my mama used to make. I got the carnitas plate and they were the best carnitas I've ever had in my life. Tender and flavorful with crispy ends,caramelized onions, perfectly flavored rice and beans. Seriously, it was that good. Beautiful restaurant, inviting atmosphereand excellent service. If you're in the St. Cloud area, give Anejo's a try!

I order steak and shrimp (forgot the actual name). This was the worst steak I've had in my life. I could not chew it at all. I told the waiter and all he said was sorry. The shrimp had no seasoning at all. The beans weredelicious and so was the rice and vegetables. The main part of the meal was very disappointing, and all I got was a sorry.

Our waitress wasn't really around.. ..After she delivered our food before asking if we needed anything else. She basically like ran away before I could order another drink but I was able to at least. .I have come here in the past and I've had great experiences. However, this last time was the worst experience I've ever had here and I probably won't come back now. I also want a state we went around 3 o'clock. There wasn't anyone there really except awesome some other people at a different booth.. I ordered the chimichanga lunch meal and was very impressed! Admittedly the chimichanga was a little smaller than what I had expected, however it came with rice, lettuce, and I hadn't even realized it but also with free chips and salsa so I was still very satisfied at the end of the meal! The price was also very reasonable! Everything tasted amazing and I will 100% be back soon, definitely a new work-lunch go to!
