T... read more We went with colleagues amogst us a pregnant woman. As we did not book in advance they refused to accept us in the restaurant while several tables were empty. They did not even want to take into account that the lady with us was feeling tired and need to eat. There were no other options close by. Really heartless, a shame for Italian hospitality!!!

As usual for italy took 30 mins for them even to take the drink order but then buffet food free after ordering drink, which was Ok if your hungry. But for a Brit its a challenge, as you either have to eat early at these things and ruin your appetite, or wait till anywhere else opens, and nowhere serves food before 7.30, even the hotels. So you just have to get used to the italian culture i suppose. Anyway i stacked up on pasta and then went to bed. But if i had waited to eat till like any normal Italian person to 8.30 earliest, then it looks like a nice resaurant for the Saronno area. And lets be honest, you would only be in Saronno or Origgio on business and then it is a good option for food and somewhere nice i think.
