Feedback
A longtime favorite spot with mixed reviews, Up and Down offers a lively atmosphere and decent food. However, recent inconsistencies have left some customers unsatisfied. On the bright side, gluten-free options are plentiful and well-prepared. Friday nights are especially popular for Tony James' delicious curries. The staff is generally friendly, but some have reported disappointing experiences with service and food quality. Overall, Up and Down is a hit or miss depending on the night, but with dedicated gluten-free options and a fun vibe, it's worth a visit for those in Sarnia.
The food is really good! The bruchetta as a starter is fresh and tasty and the Tikka Missala (after 5pm) is awesome!
We stopped in for dinner and boy did they not disappoint! The food was fantastic. The service was great. I had the liver and onions and he had the French onion soup and Caesar salad! The food was fantastic! The liver and onions were done to perfection and reminded me of my mom! They had a good beer selection along with a decent wine selection! It is a great little pub/restaurant. Lots of locals but they are very welcoming to all tourists. Will definitely go back if ever in Sarnia again!
Fantastic service, food and atmosphere!!! We only get gluten free and have never been sick after (and we have to be more careful than most - extremely sensitive). We've been at least 5 times in the last 3 months (because once you find a new safe place to eat, it's very exciting!).Have tried:liver and onionsburgerschicken fingersfriessoupbangers and mashmushroomscrab appetizerjalapeno appetizer (was that the same as the crab?) Delicious either way...
We had a nice family dinner for adults. Very reasonable in price and the food and service was absolutely perfect.
