Taste of Mediterranean has a good selection of menu items and a variety of combos. The gyro is flavourful and I like the options for the wrap fillings, especially the pickled vegetables. The owners are always so friendly. Definitely a good go-to for a quick and healthy take out! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taste of Mediterranean:
We ordered 2 chicken sharwarma plates. There were tons of tiny bones in the chicken, the tabbouleh was a lump of acidic mush...it was a green mess...no tomatoes, no couscous..just weird and gross. The hummus was really runny and watered down. The greek salad was good, although odd being served with Lebanese food. best experience of the awful lunch was the nice man and perhaps his son that served us. Very pleasant and... View all feedback.

The people running the restaurant were very friendly & helpful. The food, I found was below/average tasting, nothing spectacular. I really don't like eating my meal in styraform. The food was Greek & Lebanese, but the people running it was East Indians from India. The food tasted like it was prepared by someone else, not homemade.
People who eat out are slowly coming to realise that the food that has been the norm for so many years is falling into disrepute. Fats, sugars, salt, too much of just about everything has contributed to a failing state of health in a general sense across the country. However, in my travels, I have found that one of the most healthy diets that have been brought to the fore is that of the Mediterranean diet. I follow the mantra of "Eat well. Not too much. Mostly vegetables." Now vegetables can be a very boring alternative to the beef, chicken, burgers, french fries etc that have graced out diet for years. This restaurant provides an excellent example of just how good food can be when you eliminate foods that are not doing us any good. A Taste of Mediterranean is a fabulous discovery in alternative foods. It is well prepared, very tasty, filling and most - healthy. I so very much enjoy the food that they present and it is cost effective. And no, I am nothing more than a customer. I am not related, I have not been paid to say this, I do not even know these people personally. But, I know their food and, it is wonderful. Try it.
From the moment you walk in and are greeted warmly by the husband/wife owner team to the time you walk out with your mouth watering over your shawarma or lamb and beef wrap, your day is complete. I'm so glad I found this place! Always fabulous, freshly prepared Mediterranean foods, I could go on. Seriously, check this place out for yourself. You'll be happy you did.
