First off super friendly staff and awesome view of the bay. Next, best salsa I've ever tasted and overflowing nachos with layers of melty cheese. Yummo. Sorry both Stokes are losing clientele due to, honestly mediocre food. The bay, ok staff was amazing. Food focus now. I had the southwest burger and fries. Homemade 8 oz patty was beautifully charred fantastic, however the bun deteriorated before me as i tried to eat it. So i opted to finish with knife and fork. Fries were old and cold. The service provided for our group of 65 people (sports team families) with separate checks was truly exceptional. The staff was adequately staffed and incredibly friendly. The food was also outstanding. Overall, we had an amazing experience.
I had three other people with me and the waiter said the fish and chips were good. Three of us had fish and chips and one had broaster chicken. The batter on the fish made it look huge actually tooo much batter.When I cut into my piece of fish I could barley find the fish it was all batter. I mean I had to look for the fish and the fries were next to cold. The person that had the broasted chicken was over cooked and dry and she only ate one pcs. out of three. I mentioned it to the waiter but he shrugged it off. The waiter was very nice otherwise. I owned my own restaurant and made fish and chips and these were terrible, so disappointing. Went there due to our other fav restaurant was just serving burgers and dogs. The service was excellent. Atmosphere was bad dirty and smelly inside. Outside patio furniture is miss matched plastic sun faded and out dated. Menus greasy. Paint could go a long ways. When food came I ordered blueberry quinoa salad. Blueberries were tiny looked like tiny frozen ones no sign of quinoa and lettuce was horrible limp with romaine stalks in it when it said fresh greens asparagus was all stalks with one tiny top in it. My partner had fish and chips. All we can say is please change your fryer oil and batter came out dark in colour but doughy inside. Your staff make you look good that no one would say anything.
