Thanks to the gents who owns tonton burger, we met the owner of le bled when I told him I die for some good merguez and salata mechouia. And around 1:30 clock he turns around and leads my nabeby and me to the one who sat and sleeps his wein on the table next to us. his wife khaira and he own le bled. So we went the next day to try the food. the slata mechouia was not the largest, but the poivrone feasts (sawed paprika) were excellent. the merguez were very good, tasteful but served with two slices of bread. not quite sure why. I'll upload the pictures in a bit, they'll see how random they looked. then came the star of the meal, the cousin. I am directly back into the kitchen of a neighbor in paris. fluffy, single corn cuscous, no clumps. the rosins were sawn with caramelized wobbles and had these Tunisian zimtduft. Usually you get a bowl with golden rusts. they were fantastic. the onepot had cooked the whole veg to this comfort food level of softness and the gravur tasted by teh brewed vegetables, gently spiced. the all-round, with a gracious host and a beautiful shaded garden to relax from the tourist. very good minztee has finished our lunch.

Un joli cadre , accueillant et confortable . rien à redire sur les plats, qui plus est servis copieusement .Un grand merci , c était parfait !!!!
Thanks to the gent who owns Tonton Burger, we met the owner of Le Bled when I was telling him, I was dying for some good merguez and salata Mechouia. And at am, he turns around and introduces my hubby and me to the...gent who'd been sitting, sipping his wine at the table next to ours. His wife Khaira and he own le Bled. So off we went the next day, to try the food. The slata Mechouia was a not the greatest, but the poivrons frits (sauteed peppers) were excellent. The merguez were very good, true to taste but were served with two slices of bread... not quite sure why. I'll upload the pictures in a bit, you'll see how random they looked. Then came the star of the meal, the couscous. Took me straight back to a neighbour's kitchen in Paris. Fluffy, single grained couscous, no clumps. the raisins had been sauteed with caramelized onions and had that Tunisian cinnamon fragrance. Usually one gets a bowl of golden raisins. These were fantastic. The stew had all the veg cooked to that comfort food level of softness and the gravy tasted of teh stewed vegetables, gently spiced. Worth the detour, with gracious hosts, and a nice shaded back garden to relax away from the tourists. Very good mint tea finished off our lunch.
