We stopped here on the way home from Untamed Mountain and enjoyed everything we had. Service was great. This is obviously a popular local spot as almost everyone that came in was known by name by the staff there. Hubby had the burger and commented on how it was obviously hand pattied. What User doesn't like about Sardis Lion's Den:
My husband and I were there at 12:00 with a group of 15 and still had not received our meal by 1:30 (ordered off the wall menu) so we left. One person with basically the same order received his 30 minutes before we left and one couple received theirs an hour before us. Service: 1 View all feedback.
This is a pretty good restaurant that is in a very good place. It's next to the school in a small community with few other restaurants. The chicken fingers are amazing and the fries are too. The pecan pie is great too. However, I ordered the bacon wrapped smoked pork tenderloin and it was so dry I could hardly eat it. I got green beans with it and they were too salty and just plain gross. It seems like every time I go there it's a toss up on weather it will be good or not. Overall, pretty good food, good service, and very convenient.
The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, hash brown casserole, mac'n'cheese, fried livers, and chicken and rice casserole was fantastic. Just everything. Will visit again. And again. And again.
Fantastic home-cooked meals! I dined in for lunch and found the experience to be excellent. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5 out of 5!
