Hattie’s call! My husband and I stopped Sunday brunch and I was nervous about the possible waiting time, but we sat right. The **** Mary was delicious, but surprisingly small for $11. I'd think $8 would make more sense for the small size. My husband had the chicken and waffles, I had the chicken with cheesy grottos and we shared a sequence of her biscuits. Yummy! I can't wait to go back to more. I want a way to have... View all feedback.
What Epicurean Chichi doesn't like about Hattie's:
Hattie's in Saratoga, New York is a small, rustic cafe that serves fried chicken. The chicken was a bit overdone and the portion sizes were small, including the sugar beignets. The restaurant should remember that it was known for its generous portions in the past, and that sides are just as important as the main entree. The side of bread was tasty but small. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious. In today's ec... View all feedback.
One of the oldest and well-known restaurants in saratoga proved to be worth the 5 stars I gave him after I heard how authentic and tasty the food is and the experience. I only had to take one lover here for his birthday! they say that word of mouth is the best advertising." this picturesque, casual but full of personality restaurant holds its brand in the common. we were greeted with a friendly waitress who knew the menu very well. the service she provided was consistent and with a smile. the owner, jasper, greeted every customer, gave us a bit of history and is so up to the earth. I pampered in her signature mint mojito. it reminded me of the summer in alabama. (where I come from) I ordered the 3-course dinner of the restaurant week. I can't pick up a favorite meal. from the braided vernacular with cloth, maisbread biscuits to the incredible fried chicken. the experience is worth spreading the word how nostalgic I felt to the many palate pleasant taste I pampered while enjoying an unforgettable birthday dinner with my man. thanks for being part of our memory! I am looking forward to her weekend brunch!
This brunch spot is fantastic! Almost a century ago, a celebrity chef named Maddie Hosley opened this restaurant in Saratoga. We sat near a framed newspaper that told the history of the place. I went with some friends and started off with the chicken wing Bloody Mary - yes, chicken wings in your Bloody Mary, and it's as amazing as it sounds. They are famous for their chicken and waffles, so I ordered that and it was delicious! The fried chicken was crispy and added a nice crunch to the juicy white meat. The combination of the fluffy waffle topped with fresh maple syrup was perfect, like a party in my mouth.

I had high expectations for a recent dinner at Hattie's with a group of friends, and Hattie's did not disappoint! Our hostess was very pleasant and attentive. Although our table was initially seated in the front of the restaurant, we requested to be moved to the back for a better atmosphere, and our server, Killian, went above and beyond to accommodate our request. The staff seemed to work well together overall. Our meals were delicious and everyone had a great time. The birthday girl was treated to pecan pie, and our servers paid attention to all of our needs. We were impressed and will definitely be returning for more. Thank you, Hattie's, for making our trip great.
The chicken sandwich and the candied bacon was really nice. The chicken and waffles were okay, house fries were great. The vibe of this place is awesome. Drinks are nice, cucumber cool especially. The dishes are reasonably priced with enough quantity for two people.
