Probably one of our most popular places to hang for food. Quiet, intimate environment with some of the most delicious, freshly prepared vegan dishes. Every time we go, we taste another dish and so far we have fallen in love with them all. Large organic wines, not too expensive, very special desserts and if your diet is limited for gluten or milk, this is the place to be! View all feedback.
When I decided to go here, I was looking forward to the impossible Nachos Stack, but I also ordered the Jackfruit brand based on reviews on Google. I was surprised to find the bride LOVED! We are not usually huge Jackfruit fans, but they made it taste so good! It's really good if you get a bite with brisket, sweet potato, rice and the Cole Slav together. My husband also loves the bride. The impossible nachos were also good, but they were simply from the brisket. Oh, and I forgot, I have the pommes because I read reviews that they have the best pommes and I was skeptical, but they are really the best pommes! They taste just like the pommes of Larosas in Cincinnati, who happen to be my favorite friries so I loved these pommes too. We also got the raw mango cheesecake and my husband really liked it, but I didn't do because I don't like coconut at all and it really tastes like coconut. I'd go back here 10/10 if I'm ever back in town!
OK this is one of the very best restaurants in Sarasota in my opinion. Delicious portobello goat cheese burger and the fudge dessert bites are out of this world! I've been a few times and all the food is outstanding. The owner is so very kind, she loves what she does, you can tell. Highly highly recommend!!!
All I can say is wow. impeccable. I had the gf/v burger and nachos and I think I died and went to dietary restriction heaven
We had the Portobello tacos and the Portobello Volcano. Both tasted great. The tacos could have had more mushrooms to be more filling. Glad we found this place on Google. We will be going back. Try the desserts too. Our was good!
I wanted to find a place we had not yet. Started from the search for a crowded car park in front of a place from the beaten bathroom. Golf Gate did not disappoint and came back with veg and grill. We saw that the small place lived and although we did not vegetarian or vegan or gluten-free or whatever, we went in. Waitress asked if the next time we called that we would know. We sat at the little bar where the waitress, who greeted us and sat, waited for us. We started with the special Sangria, the Cucumber Citrus Limon or something. It was perfect! We ordered one of the nightly specials. Hubs had the Portabello Wellington and I had the Ginger Garlic Cobia? Both were served freshly and beautifully presented. We loved every bite! We were hungry so the portions were generous, we certainly didn't need a to-go box! Plan to try back to our earliest convenience, another delicious dish. I think of Spinikopita w/Greek Salad and perhaps the Mezze Teller appetizer. Yum!
