I'd give a 0 start if it were possible.

However, at th... read more Truly the worst experience I've ever had at a tropical smoothie cafe. I absolutely love this chain and have never had a bad experience otherwise. However, at this store I was ignored while waiting to order because the cashier, Amanda, was more interested in making plans with her friend sitting at the counter. Then, Amanda took my order and could not have been more uninterested in helping me before going back to talk to her friend. As my food was being made, other customers would walk in and Amanda would loudly groan and shout I just want to go smoke upon every new customer's entrance. On top of being treated awfully, my food was made wrong. I've worked in food services and understand there are mistakes made and bad days had, but this behavior was unexcusable. I will not be returning to this store.

On this date 14th December I went to the restaurant to pick up a couple items. When I walked in I was a mediately greeted by one of the two women working. The one that greeted me was caucasian. I walked up to the register and was met by an African American lady. I asked her how she was doing oh, she made no response back to me. She never once asked what I would like to order. So I told her what I wanted, the only thing that she ever said to me was what side did I want. She was rude condescending and lacked social skills. I realized it was just before closing and I'm quite sure they were both tired, but that's no excuse for bad service. I am I small business owner. Even though there's times when I'm very tired I always greet my clients with the appropriate response. I give five stars to the lady that greeted me when I walked in I give no stars to the lady that waited on me.

This is number three out of three that I have visited in Sarasota and it’s worse than the other one on tamiami, the only one that I will go to is on Main Street... read more This is number three out of three that I have visited in Sarasota and it’s worse than the other one on tamiami, the only one that I will go to is on Main Street. Just so happens that it’s closed today and I had this delivered. We are vegan and do not eat chicken but they put it on the hummus veggie wrap. Didn’t put the bananas on the banana flatbread which is the main ingredient. And I bit down into the flat bread and there was a long blonde hair. I’m literally by far disgusted with this location more than I am with the one on Tamiami. Yes sometimes fair isn’t avoidable. But keep stuff cleaned up. Hair pulled back should be practiced. I can tell it was carelessness by the lack of attention they payed on the ingredients in my food. I guess I’ll wait for main street to open when I want tropical smoothie
