The Waterfront - Sarasota

Here are my impressions from my first visit. The Tuesday night special featuring baby back ribs was excellent. However, the coconut shrimp didn't quite meet my expectations; it was essentially baked shrimp served with a coconut sauce, though the shrimp were quite large. The prime rib was good, but the side salads were quite disappointing. On the plus side, the prices were reasonable for this type of establishment. The ambiance was nice, and the service was attentive. I would consider coming back, but I wouldn't say it was the best food I've ever had.

I had an excellent experience thanks to Linda, who was incredibly sweet and attentive to all our needs! Thank you, Linda! The food was a perfect 10/10—everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor! I'm so happy to see this family business thriving again!

The service here is consistently excellent, and I am thrilled to have such a great restaurant nearby. The duck was incredible, and the sesame seared tuna was equally impressive. You absolutely have to try the beer muffins—they're fantastic! From the warm welcome we received from the Lagopoulos family when we walked in to the attentive service from our server, Linda, everything contributed to a wonderful dining experience.

My organization had a volunteer evaluation dinner there for 70 people We have the choice of 3 appetizers, prime rib, salmon and a veggie pasta. We chose our own pages, salads and got cheesecake for dessert. It was excellent food, service and ambience. It's hard to get hot on the table with so many people, but they did it! I got no complaint just great reviews. Eric and his staff, front and back were excellent. Party of two to a party of 70 run there, don't go!

Memorable Meal, I'll be back!! This is how Prime Rib should always be but unfortunately it's not and that's why this place is so special. Medium Rare is exactly as it should be even if you order the seldom seen-End Cut. If you long for Old School restaurants you'll be transported but all the new touches are in place for those who don't. Superb , knowledgable and friendly staff make the experience flawless while the kitchen performs it's magic. Spend the extra money on the well curated if not too long wine by the glass list as it'll be tough to beat these glass prices anywhere. Can hardly wait to return!
