Contribute FeedbackOverall, the reviews for this restaurant are mixed. Some diners were disappointed with certain aspects such as the watery goulash, lack of special treatment for birthdays, and subpar crab dip. Others enjoyed the food quality, attentive service, and unique atmosphere of Coolinary. Positive comments included outstanding food, Hungarian twist on dishes, creative cocktails, and live guitar music. Despite some complaints about slow service and slow kitchen exhaust system, the general consensus seems to be that the food is delicious and the overall experience is enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate Hungarian cuisine. Overall, the restaurant seems to have more positive than negative points, making it worth a visit for those looking to try something new and tasty.
Coolinary is an attractive restaurant, but not a place for quiet talk. the waiting staff is attentive, but a bit impatient, especially for first customers who need time to go through the menu. eating was good, but not excellent. it was slandered. we had the carving and the chicken, and the meat was cooked in both, and a little dry. we have not tried any of the vegetarian offers that looked very appetizing. Given the number and variety of restaurants in the inner city of sarasota, I would probably not come back.
Wow, fantastic meal and beautiful service from our waitress marina. we had the flower cauliflower patches as an app, crispy with a delicious yoghurt diving sauce. on the pork with potato salad (perfect cooked) and the chicken paprikash (perfect seasoned) for dinner, followed by an amazing 8-layer cake for dessert. plus delish cocktails and weine paired with cocktails he meal. they must try this place when in sarasota!
I was disappointed by goulash. it was too watery, more like soup. waiter forget to put in the order for goulash; if it did not come with other appetizers, we asked where it was. it wasn't hot when it was served. the garnel and scallops were very good. my man stumbled and fell when he left the raised dining room floor. two men ran to his rescue to help him get up. although we mentioned that it was a birthday when the reservation, nothing special was done to confirm.
No service after 10 minutes the uncrowded bar....bartender did not even look up. Bread was like hockey pucks, small piece of snapper was overcooked and tasteless, beef was overcooked tough, manager had no reaction to our complaints. Save your money go elsewhere. Plenty of good options in Sarasota.
Great experience, manager and owners stopped by to ensure everything was to our liking. Food was excellent.
