What Larry Schapker doesn't like about Sunnyside Cafe:
The food was okay, but we were a bit let down by the fish and chips. The fries were delicious, but the fish was small and overly fried. Unfortunately, we were unable to try the goulash as it wasn't available when we left at 11:30. View all feedback.
Great dining experience. The food is a bit on the higher priced side but definitely shows in the quality and taste. I had an omlet and potatoe cakes with toast and an unsweetened tea. Great and tasty. The server was great unfortunately I don't remember her name. ??????????
Lovely Sunday brunch at Sunnyside! They were very busy, but to our delight everyone was waiting to sit inside so we were seated almost immediately since we were fine sitting on the patio. They have huge umbrellas and the tables are completely shaded. There was a nice breeze so it was a very comfortable dining experience. Service was good and the food was great. I had the Sunnyside Open Face Omelette and it was scrumptious! Great flavors and very well made. My husband had the Sunnyside Eggs Benedict with bacon on the side. His was delicious and the bacon was perfect. Coffee was great and they even gave my husband an iced tea to-go when we were paying the check. The restaurant is in a great location, and the servers and host were delightful. Highly recommended!
Looking for delicious French toast? Here's the place. We had the Vermont maple syrup to go with our French toast. There is an outdoor seating area that is pet-friendly. Dinner here, too.
Great food. Iffy location for parking. If you flash, you will miss it. Very small dinning area and family owned. Pita was amazing. Try her goulosh it was amazing.
Not God! Ava or Eva, the manager, is the RUDEST person I've ever met. Worst experience in any restaurant I've ever had. Waiting time was reasonable. Our drinks came slowly, but that's good. They offer pages on their breakfast menu, but apparently you can not only order pages because they have zero notice how to enter this in their system?.then why do you offer them??? My friend was forced to order a complete meal when everything she wanted was 2 side pieces (1 egg and hash cake or whatever they are called). I politely asked to order an order ( arrived after our meal) and was incubated by Ava, the manager!, who says NO TO GO ORDERS! We must serve all paying people here first! I answered, I'm sitting here PAYING. You mean I can't eat my husband?! This is Asininin!! I get you to do, but I spend while I try to spend more! I've seen Ava also tear the clipboard out of someone's hand near the front door because they put their name on the waiting list and they're rudely saying that it's for ME to do! If you're not there, and there's a table with an intermediate shelf sitting on it..What else do you think should happen?! You only have 10 tables in the entire restaurant! My omelette had only 4 small pieces of bacon and they were RAW plus the paprika were boiled and too many of them only in a folded flat egg, not really an omelet. If you have received this wide reading, I promise I am NOT difficult to please, it was really a terrible experience. No manager should ever yell at their customers.
