I really liked the orange tofu and vegan rice side dish. The staff was knowledgeable about vegan options and seemed to prioritize serving these customers. It was also nice to support a local family-owned business. Last updated review on July 15, 2022. View all feedback.
What Lyndon Bethel doesn't like about Stiks:
Ordered beef pho, beef was not edible, it was tough and felt like it was refrozen expired beef. The hot sauces are watered down here.If they are serving expired beef and watered down sauces I would expect problems with everything else, probably needs a health department shutdown and closure. Stiks offers a wide variety of vegan options, making it difficult to choose what to order. The menu clearly indicates vegan options and even has a separate menu for vegan boba drinks. If I lived nearby, I would probably visit Stiks regularly as it did not disappoint.
I absolutely adore Stiks! I love that all items on the menu are clearly labeled as vegan, and I appreciate that they offer vegan options without requiring any modifications. My favorites are the Garden stir fry veggies and vegan fried rice, which I usually add tofu to for some extra protein. The orange tofu is also fantastic, and I always make sure to order the veggie spring rolls. My only gripe is that I wish they had a larger selection on the menu.
The food tastes good. I wish there were more vegetarian options available besides just the one standard option. It would be nice to see some crunchy vegetable options like snow pea pods. When I ordered a vegetarian topping, it was a bit overcooked for my taste. I like that you can choose how you want the tofu cooked. It would be great to have some oil-free options, as some noodle dishes I've had were too oily. The prices seem a bit high, especially if you add tofu or extra vegetables. I think they would attract more customers if they lowered their prices a bit. The interior of the restaurant is very charming and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Loved the shitake noodles in particular and menu is well marked. I go here way too often lol
We came here after a day at the beach and it did not disappoint. Plenty of vegan options, clearly marked on their menu. My husband and I were so excited to try everything, but we got shiitake wide noodles, vegan pad Thai, side vegan fried rice, orange tofu, fresh tofu roll, and the vegan lavender boba tea. I could’ve gone without the tofu roll and orange tofu since we usually make those at home, but otherwise everything was delicious!! Do yourself a favor and make sure you try the garlic chili oil to amp up the flavor even more (we bought a jar to take home).
