Runway Grill At The Holiday Inn Sarasota Airport

WHY IS THIS PLACE ON OPENTABLE?Staff at Runway Grill knew nothing about OpenTable reservations. Restaurant is in Holiday Inn Express near SarasotaBradenton Airport. On industrial road, backside of airport, no view. Restaurant was basic airport hotel barrestaurant, most customers there overnight to catch early AM flights. Open seating in bar area, tablesbooths in restaurant area. Understaffed, one bartender, one waitress. May have seen hotel mgr start to help out. We did not stay to eat or drink

What's that? The staff at Runway Grill knew nothing about OpenTable reservations. The restaurant is located at Holiday Inn Express near Sarasota-Bradenton Airport. On the industrial road, back of the airport, no view. Restaurant was the airport hotel bar/restaurant, most customers there overnight to catch early AM flights. Open seating in the bar area, tables/boats in the restaurant area. A bartender, a waitress. Perhaps Hotel mgr have seen the beginning to help. We didn't stay to eat or drink.

I mean, WOW! The best culinary experience I had in a hotel since my time. It's so nice to stay in a place that has so good food. The breakfast buffet is so much better than other hotels. Jay behind the bar is amazing, working his ass off. I'll be right back. Great work.

Food and service were both good. A tad overpriced for what you get, but not terrible for being in a hotel.

Excellent, well prepared kitchen. Excellent, attentive, friendly service.
