The staff was more than satisfied with my vegan request. They made me an arepa with fresh grilled vegetables and avocado slices. Fantastic coffee with vegetable milk. I'll be back to try the dinner menu.

My husband and I went to this place because it was on HappyCow. Nothing but Plantains and Yucca Pommes. Everything else comes with meat, cheese or both.

We used to order from this restaurant frequently, but over the past couple of years, the portions have gotten smaller and the quality has declined. During my last visit, the server had difficulty understanding my order. I requested plantains instead of rice with my meal, but still received rice as well as a small side of plantains for $6. I also inquired about the fried green plantains platter, but the server seemed unfamiliar with it, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. I eventually gave up on that order. When I went to pick up my food, I tried to move out of the way for a server in the crowded space near the cash register, but when she turned around, she rudely asked me to excuse her. I felt unwelcome and like an inconvenience. Normally, I am a generous tipper, but on this occasion, I chose not to leave a tip due to the poor service and lack of effort to get my order right. The portions and quality of the food did not justify the prices. It's unfortunate because this used to be a good restaurant, but it seems like there may be an issue with the staff. This experience led us to no longer patronize the restaurant.

I ordered Tequeños online from Uber, but none of them tasted good. They all seemed old and reheated.
