Nancy's Bbq - Sarasota

Absolutely the best BBQ, great service and even enjoy some live music while you eat. What works because you will probably order seconds! The fat seal is excellent. Just the right way to season a brisket. The pulled pig is a family lover (I also like the sausage) and the sides are big. I love this food and Nancy is behind it, everything makes sure you have a great experience.

So delicious! Brisket is to die for... Made with love and caring consistently. I do miss the funky been there forever blues vibe of the downtown Sarasota location, but Lorraine Corners is large, clean and has a beautiful bar! They go the extra mile to make sure everything is right for you and yummy good! Great catering, too.

A win in the BBQ arena. The first thing that is an absolute must is there should be the smell of smoke in the air. This place had that so it actually was a step in the right direction especially the location. I don't normally eat brisket out of Texas but I decided to give it a whirl. Ordered the brisket fatty and it was very good. However if you get it lean it would have been dry. Also ordered a kielbasa which was very good. The major letdown was their chicken...absolutely terrible..you only get one side so I settled for collards...theses were absolutely perfect. Not a typical BBQ side menu but I am sure that has to do with the proximity to Lakewood Ranches.. they have some specials that are actually tantalizing so I might make a trip back on down for them...plus want to try their Mac and Cheese, beans, and cheesy grits..great attention by wait staff. Also offer 10% discount to Vets...

Without a doubt, this is the best pulled pork sandwich in the Manatee and Sarasota area! The meat is juicy and flavorful, and it's a true standout. I love adding a bit of Nancy's sweet heat sauce, along with a side of Asian slaw and some tea—it's the perfect lunch! I can't wait to return. My husband ordered the pulled pork plate with two sides, choosing beans and potatoes, and he enjoyed it just as much, even though he mixed his beans together before I could snap a photo!

Nancy's is a family-owned BBQ joint that truly gives you that Southern vibe. The service is exceptionally polite, embodying genuine Southern hospitality. The decor brings a cozy, home-cooked feel to the place. The ribs and brisket are absolutely to die for, and the sides are just as amazing.
