Mariscos Azteca Mexican Seafood

The food here is truly authentic and excellent. The seafood was incredibly tasty, and the chile relleno was fantastic as well.

Authentic cuisine! This is the best I've tried in the Sarasota area. We ordered the tamales as an appetizer and the torres de marisco with salsa verde. The table behind us also had a tostada de ceviche, which looked incredible. We asked for the sauce on the side for the torres de marisco since my mom can’t handle spicy food very well. The salsa verde was incredibly fresh, and I believe the heat level complemented the dish perfectly. I enjoyed an ice-cold Modelo Especial while she had a margarita. We will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant is incredible! The food is amazing—truly some of the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had. I've visited many Mexican places, but this one definitely stands out. The presence of so many Mexican patrons in the dining area is a testament to its authenticity and quality. It's a cozy mom-and-pop spot where everything is freshly made and authentic. The service was fantastic, too. From the food to the chips and salsa, we indulged in so much deliciousness. It's hard to believe we ate that much! The only downside is that it’s quite far from my home.

Great spot for dine in or takeout and easy to get to from anywhere in Sarasota. It’s a bummer they are closed on Wednesdays, but they more than make up for it with their great lunch specials!
