For appetizers, my wife ordered the tuna carpaccio, while I went with the burrata drizzled with truffles. The smile on my wife's face spoke volumes about how well the tuna was prepared. This restaurant was phenomenal! Definitely some of the best and freshest Italian food I ever had. Homemade Caesar salad as well as the Osso Buco are must haves. I also love the smaller dining space compared to much bigger restaurants, it creates a cozier atmosphere. 10/10.
So, my wife and I just ate dinner at marcellos….. I’ve eaten at many Michelin stared restaurants and have traveled far to eat good food. Our experience was fantastic!!!! The quality and structure of how this place operates is certainly different than any other spot in the Sarasota area. With that being said, go and eat there as fast as you can. Everything we ordered was perfect, being served food where I can taste every ingredient is a rarity but boy could I pin point every flavor of every dish. The crab claws were perfect, sausage rabe was an amazing classic and the Bahamian lobster with pasta just couldn’t be topped. Finishing with the most proper of Italian deserts in my mind being the spumoni it was a fantastic evening. Book a reservation and have a wonderful evening!
What a wonderful place!! Diamond in the ruff for sure. The food is exceptional and the wait staff really bring the Italian vibe to life. Highly recommend.
