Maemi Peruvian Cuisine - Sarasota

Although I am not very familiar with Peruvian cuisine, the owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly and helped me choose dishes from the menu. I decided to start with the ceviche, which was absolutely fantastic - fresh and delicious. For my main course, I tried the Lomo Salgado, which consisted of sautéed steak with onions and peppers served with white rice and fries. It was incredibly tasty. The homemade juices were also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I recently dined at this restaurant and tried the papa a la huancaina and anticuchos, both of which were outstanding. The flavors were reminiscent of dining in the Miraflores or Barranco neighborhoods in Lima, Peru.

It’s a little pricey but worth it. My son and I shared the Ojo de Tigre App it was delish. Makes me want to come back for ceviche. We shared the Jalea it was such a generous helping we didn’t eat for the rest of the day. Very attentive service chicha Morada was on point!
