What Lucas R doesn't like about Kazus 2.0:
The service was excellent, and the presentation was appealing. I often enjoy sushi, but this particular sushi was surprisingly bland. While it tasted fresh, it lacked any real flavor. It might be a decent choice for happy hour, but I didn't find it worth the price for dinner. View all feedback.
Gulf Gate is where the locals go, not fancy at all, they have a happy hour, and great service. Tables are tiny and that's the only odd thing here. 4 of us...

Gulf Gate is a popular spot among the locals; it's casual, not upscale, but it offers a happy hour and excellent service. The only downside was the small tables; we managed to squeeze four people into one! The sushi rolls were fantastic—especially the volcano and ninja rolls. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the fish was impressive. However, we weren't fans of the roll with conch; it was too chewy and difficult to bite, but the staff kindly removed it from our bill. I enjoy conch, but not when it's rubbery, so I'd recommend avoiding that option. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more dishes. By the way, they have Sculpin beer in bottles along with other great beer selections!
