This was my first experience at Kasey's. It was excellent food for more than a fair price point. This seafood restaurant is as good as many in central Florida. Unfortunately, You cannot have the Shrimp and Grits without the pork in it. That was quite disappointing. The really good seafood restaurants in Florida serve Shrimp and Grits as a seafood dish, and if some add pork, they give the option to hold it, and it still tastes great. Great food! We went on a Thursday night about 1800 and got a table immediately. Our waitress came right over to take our drink order. One of the kids just wanted a plain piece of cod which they were able to accommodate. The food was delicious! The crab cakes were really good and filling. The Captain's Platter and 9 pc shrimp meals were HUGE! I think everyone left stuffed; definitely no room for desert!!Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu but we were able to get a piece of cod for $4.50 and added a side dish and she was happy!
This place is amazing. My family felt welcomed from the door. The service is A1, from the hostess, server (Tessica), food runner. I normally don’t write reviews, but this was worth writing. Lately the service industry sucks, this place did not follow suit in that manner. The food was very fresh, hot, and TASTY. This place did not disappoint.

A quaint seafood restaurant with very Big taste. Savor Sarasota got me there and I will return. I loved the Chocolate Flan. They also have a nice patio.Food: 5/5
