What User doesn't like about Hyatt Regency Sarasota:
Tried to pull up in our boat for a few drinks at the pool bar, they said it's for hotel guest only. Absolutely ridiculous that they would decline sales. We wanted to park for 30 minutes max to buy drinks and appetizers. And the man at the docks was pretty rude. View all feedback.
I don’t think this Hyatt understands what gluten-free means. We stopped by to eat at the poolside restaurant on our way down to southern Florida. The menu listed some items as “gluten free” which is why we stopped here. I asked the waitress if the items are prepared separately and I was told that they were. I ordered a cold taco with cheese and salsa, so that it would not need to be grilled. My grandmother ordered the hummus appetizer which was marked as “gluten free”. After waiting a few minutes the manager told me that the tacos were all contaminated with gluten. I am very pleased that she informed me. She told us that she would refund the taco but couldn’t provide any receipt for some reason. The supposedly gluten free hummus dish was served with wheat pita chips! I was appalled, how could a restaurant do that!

The room was really clean, beds were comfortable and came with 3 different sizes and thicknesses, all equipment worked, TV came with Chromecast, kayaks and paddle boards available for free, The staff was really friendly and helpful.When we were there there was an issue with the elevators.

Beautiful hotel and excellent service. I am a Hyatt Globalist and I arrived at the hotel from a flight at about 10am. Was immediately accommodated and upgraded to a room with balcony.Welcome amenity was a bottle of Wine and some local key lime cookies which were great.The balcony was great spot to sit and take in the beautiful Florida winter breeze.Sara at the front desk was phenomenal.
