I often go to lunch, because it is cheap and the tofu is delicious. they build their own bowl beginning with a basic of rice, soba nudel or cal salad, then they... read more I often go to lunch, because it is cheap and the tofu is delicious. they build their own bowl beginning with a basic of rice, soba nudel or cal salad, then they can tofu and one of the vegan sauces (I love the ponzu) and as many of the toppings as they want to add. they can get edamame, plucked gurken, swirling, mushrooms, sesame seeds, seaweed salate and much more. they also have avocado, but as with most places it is extra. it's reasonable to get about $10 for the bowl. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to inform them what is vegan. it's worth a visit!

I did a few days before I left my hometown for a year, and I wish I had gone earlier; The atmosphere was great and peaceful. I asked both cash registers if it was okay if I stayed a while as I had to do a few tests online - they were very polite and also checked for me a few times. Packed the rest of my food to go and offered to refill my water in the meantime, although water is quite much self served. The food is fresh, all dishes and other meals can be adjusted as needed. All parts are big. Damped buns: mushrooms buns and pork buns are definitely the biggest item in the store.
