Bijou has always been one of our favorite downtown restaurants, and still is, even after the recent change of ownership and remodeling. We love the new elegant decor and the menu and food quality have always been exceptional we just wish the dinner menu was more comprehensive with a larger selection of entrees. I received excellent service during my visit. I ordered the salmon, which could have used a bit more sauce, and the polenta cake was quite dry. However, my friends tried the duck and short ribs, and they enjoyed their meals very much.
The entire experience was excellent! The food was outstanding, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive and prompt. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the kale salad was tasty, and both the steak and lamb chops were simply superb. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic dinner, and the drinks were excellent. I know it may sound strange, but my wife and I were really impressed by the quality of the water.

Excellent food, amazing first class service! I had the escargot for and starter and the duck as a main, it was delicious. The creme brûlée for dessert was the best I have ever had!
