I had one of the best meals in Sarajevo at this restaurant. The hotplate had a variety of fresh and delicious foods, including tasty chicken and melt-in-your-mouth beef. The lamb chop could have been thicker, but still had great flavor. The potatoes were excellent, and the shredded cabbage on top was a nice touch. The sauce was a bit on the hard side. The service was top-notch and the interior was beautiful and well-lit. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time to secure a table.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was outstanding and the servers were very attentive. I ordered a mixed meat plate and each item was excellent. The lamb kebabs were tender and flavorful, cooked in olive oil. The chicken was a bit tough, possibly due to the melted cheese on top, but the creamy and sweet sauce complemented it well. This might be the best meal I've had in Bosnia. A perfect 10/10 rating from me.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this fantastic restaurant! The grilled meat was delicious and the service was excellent. Upon the waiter's suggestion, my husband and I started with the traditional chicken soup, then enjoyed the Bosnian lamb and beef steak dishes. The meal was served with salad, grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and house-made bread. Everything was delicious! The kitchen staff and the attentive manager deserved a big thumbs up for their hard work. The prices were very reasonable and we were pleased to dine in a smoke-free environment.
Great place, with a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. A place that can accommodate a group of picky foods (vegans, vegetarians and all others). High quality food and great service. And non-smokers. A hidden jewel in Sarajevo.
If you want to see women holding their babies and having a cigarette at the same time this isn't the place for you. Aside from being completely smoke-free, this place does everything else right! We were warmly welcomed when we entered the restaurant and were promptly seated. The waiter was an absolute professional and did all the right things. The food was incredible and the portions were quite generous! The menu featured a wide variety of dishes which are loosely based on Bosnian cuisine. If you are visiting Sarajevo, you should definitely go to the other restaurants for that 100% Bosnian experience but make sure you also visit Klopa!
