Situated in the relais builing on ground floor level Their ‚big restaurant‘ Guido is in the basement Quality of food and service very adequate, prices comparatively moderate, atmosphere lovely The relais is quite overrun by transatlantic customers, and the staff does remarkably well in keeping the standard up. More continental guests would be an enrichment View all feedback.

Yesterday. stefano and his team made our first meal in Italy unforgettable. they had gluten-free bread ready for my wife to go. all dishes (tunatare, calf, steak) were made to perfection and were paired with beautiful local weeping suggestions by their amazing sommelier. the ambiente was also breathtaking with views of the region barolo. service was attentive and excellent. highly recommended.
The bistrot in San Maurizio 1619 is the best place were we have dined during our stay in Langhe. If you reside In San Maurizio think it twice before going outside for eating as hardly you will find the same quality and service outside. Valentino the chef is faboulose when choosing the perfect ingredience and meticulose in the search of the best market or farm where to get it. Even the most simple receipt is made deliciouse with autenticity and quality. Fabio serving the tables is very kind and attent to take care of all people needs , giving suggestions and hints that can make the experience even better. Frankly all people of the bistrot are very nice , calm , professional and frindly. Wine selection is over average and price very reasonable for the location and quality.

Dined here yesterday. Wow. Stefano and his team made our first meal in Italy memorable. They had gluten free bread for my wife ready to go. All the dishes (tuna tartare, veal, steak) were done to perfection and were paired with beautiful local wine suggestions from their amazing sommelier. The ambiance was also stunning with views of the Barolo region. Service was attentive and excellent. Highly recommended.
This was one of the most underwhelming restaurants in Langhe region. The food is classic but not impressive. The service was below par they did not removed the cutlery after the amuse bouche purely out of laziness I assume. The entire restaurant smelled of chlorine, I again assume is because it’s located very close to its spa/pool. The food was average at best. The menu was extremely limited and not impressive. I definitely feel it does not deserve it’s Michelin plaque, since a lot of other restaurants in the area are miles better but are placed in the same category.
