Afeto Comfort Food - Santiago Do Cacem

I love this little gem in the heart of Santiago. Great vibe with very nice food and coffee. The staff are lovely and the chef really does his best to impress. Don't miss it especially if you are visiting the local hotel. Tip. Try the gin with red fruits

After a little wonder around the town we found this cafe. Great atmosphere, music and lots of options to eat. Many alternatives for people with food intolerances, which isn't easy to find in Santiago. The FOOD IS AMAZING, freshly made and lots of great options! The gin and tonic is delicious too ;

I went with the family to have lunch, the place has a good design and looks nice, however it took very long, maybe 45min to have the food ready. Besides the beer was not good the smell and taste was really bad, so we complain but the critics were not received in a good way. Resume: 1. Looks nice 2. Bad service 3. We came to eat something sweet and we found this amazing place: very good tasting pancakes and crepes, the place is so curated and nice and they have METAL STRAWS, which is a huge plus!

After one month in Portugal we arrived to Santiago do Cacem. Very hungry we were looking around for a place to eat that offers vegetarian dishes as well. We drove past the resturant. We looked at the menu and knew we found the right place! It was clean, The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious and fresh and there were many options. For sure it is a place to come back to.
