Contribute FeedbackTypical example of a pseudo-cook surfing the gastronomic boom wave. If you can't make a real lomo-saltado, don't cook. I would have eaten a 1000 tter aeropuerto (Chinese-Peruvian style fried rice and noodles) for 1/8 of the price, at Chifa just a few meters away. The dimming lighting made it even more depressing. Stay away.
Used to be a modern kitchen type of place, now it is a lunch menu for people working in the area. No charm, but okay for a 4 dollar meal in Surco.
The food is excellent, mixes peruvian ingredients in a modern style, which leads typical dishes with an interesting twist. Most importantly, they serve good portions that are not in any kind of chic restaurants. They also make all their desserts with the use of liquid nitrogen that freezes whatever has to be freed in seconds; the dessert cook comes to your table and makes your ice cream or sorbet right there, which is quiet fun!
