La Mercaderia Restaurant

After a walk in the whole city we stop looking at their great outdoor seating over the center. They had afternoon specialties that we had appetizers and drinks. Nice place to stop and watch people while our feet rest!

This site is an ensemble of several locals with their own food and drink offer. In general it is good to have a drink or to rest from a walk. We ordered some food and drinks and they didn’t have everything from the wine menu, also, the place is not so hygienic (especially the tables and bathrooms). The prices are somewhat high, the best option we had was the burger which was fine, olives where disgustingly dry and over salted. We maybe get this site wrong, for a beer or some Mezcal it could be a great place but not to grab something to eat or more special food.

No pictures, we're sorry... waffles with strawberry and apple cinnamon were just good. Coffee was acceptable. Prices affordable.

One day while walking by, a young woman tried tempting us to go in for lunch. Since we had other plans, we said we would return during our visit. At the time, we did take a peek and found the interior interesting. The next day, we made good on our promise, but the young woman was not working yet. We had breakfast, I ordered the Deli Skillet. Not only was it beyond plentiful, every bite was as delicious as the previous one. Being delighted with the atmosphere and food, the wait staff was the icing on the cake. They were truly attentive and cared for our opinions. Having had a great experience the first time, we returned two days later. It was encouraging to have a repeat time that was as incredible as the first. This was a sign of consistency for sure. We were so impressed, we submitted the restaurant to be included here on TripAdvisor.
