The beginning was annoying, in Mexico the mission of the waiters is to harass, so he asks for everything he does not want to demand, and this is the case of this place. We ordered an appetizer, Tequila, then an ordered lobster biscuit, on a very hot plate with the cold soup! They had to come back to use it properly, all the entrees were cold and best lukewarm, the completion of the meal with some salty, if salty, zussette Crepes. They had to regain them. This restaurant is expensive, very expensive, so it should not be an excuse for good service and good kitchen, it was not pleasant.

I'm in Mexico. My General Manager and I went to a restaurant he had suggested we were only open for breakfast. But within 100 feet was Restaurante Josecho. We decided to eat there and stay satisfied with the experience. You have menus in Spanish and English with a variety of offers. I was looked between Octipus and Shrimp in olive oil and garlic or a Empanada Gelliga de Bacalao. I love Empanadas, that was my choice. My G.M. Chose cattle broth with Sherry. For entrees he chose a chicken breast on a bed pasta in a tomato sauce. I chose Suckling Pig with potatoes with peppers and onions. The pig was EXCELLENT!; moist, tender and in a broth from the pork. We looked at the dessert menu that had many interesting things, but we were full. We chose a capachino to finish the meal. I'm looking forward to my next trip down here so I can have the pig back and dessert.
My wife and I went to Josecho for a date night on our vacation to Mexico. Our dining experience was first-class and every dish we had was excellent. We would be hard-pressed to rank what we ate, but the kobe sliders and steak were fantastic. These were also paired with an excellent bottle of recommended wine. The staff also went out of their way to ensure our experience was one to remember. If you are visiting Queretaro and want a stellar fine-dining experience, Josecho should be at the top of your list.
It was one of our favorite restaurants in Queretaro. The service is one of the best and the food is excellent. The place is quiet and beautiful. My wife loves the “perejil frito” (fried parsley) and we had a “chile en nogada” typical of this season. It is a large poblano Chile covered with a creamy pecan sauce decorated with “granada fruit”. This combination represents the three colors of the Mexican flag and the flavout is delicious. It is not pecan, it is another kind of mother called “nuez de castilla.” Very recommended!!
