Cabugao Seafoods Haus - Santiago

Upon arriving at the airport, we asked the locals for recommendations on where to find good seafood. They directed us to this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! The servers suggested various seafood options and provided recommendations on how to best enjoy them. The fish, oysters, and clams were all delicious. I especially enjoyed the local fish, a cross between snapper and sea bass, which I finished by myself. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were very reasonable compared to what we would pay for similar dishes in the US. The restaurant was also easy to find from the airport. We had a great dining experience here!

If you are a native of Iloilo, this restaurant is conveniently located along the road to the airport. It is on the opposite side when traveling from the airport to the city. The atmosphere is simple, like most restaurants in Iloilo, but it is often busy with vehicles rushing by on the highway, such as big trucks and buses that can be noisy at times. However, this does not affect the quality of the food. The gipsreis is perfect for a group of four, and the binakol is exceptional. This restaurant is ideal for small groups, as it is usually not crowded when I visit (or maybe I just come at the wrong time). The ambiance is great and the focus is on delicious food rather than fancy decor. For the price, you can't go wrong with this place.

The place is quite simple as usual restaurants in Iloilo. The place is going to be bombarded by vehicles rushing through the highway, such as big trucks and buses, which could be noisy at times. That's the environment, but that does not matter, for my other point is that it offers excellent food. The platter rice is good for four persons and the "Binakol" is exceptional. For small groups, this is truly excellent, from the time that I usually go back here, I often arrive as the only guest(or maybe I just arrive at the wrong time). The ambiance is great and expect good food rather than good looks, for the price, you can't really go wrong with this place.
