A place where locals as well as visitors find good food and drinks for local prices. The fried fish was delicious, and so was the hamburger! The menu has an english translation of the dishes, which we greatly appreciate as our spanish is rather rudimentary. The staff was very friendly, supportive, and patient with my stumbling attempts to communicate in the country‘s language… View all feedback.
What Michael B doesn't like about Hermanos Pineda:
I’m giving an extra star because of the pandemic. From the moment we arrived it felt like we weren’t wanted there. We would have left but it was raining. The fried fish was incredibly dry and our second plate never arrived, but we couldn’t ask about it since we were never checked on again. 2 dogs sat under our table and begged for food the entire time. Considering this restaurant is in a rural area, I’ll give them 5 stars. Pizza for 2 (8 slices, pepperoni) cost $7 dollars, a small ‘picada’ with a corn tortilla, yucas, one hojaldra, green salad, a piece of chicken and pork cost $6. We also ordered the meal of the day (rice, beans, chicken, green salad) and the portions were good. We were 2 adults and 3 children and we spent around $20.
Very nice spot with friendly staff, also cheap, delicious dishes of Panamanian food.
Warm people, good basic food at a fair price, and a great spot to interact with locals and watch birds. Saw two toucans during lunch.

Neat, nice place with some gifts to buy inside. Partial view of the mountains. Food limited choice, but tasty
