Jicote Cafe - Santiago

Excellent service and eating is delicious. they have a farm where they can go a watch, huh, pee, etc. they have access to the lagoon of cachi.

A group of friends and I were hungry while driving on a highway near Ujarass, Costa Rica. A young man on the side of the road directed us to a gravel path and pointed to a small sign advertising Jicote. Since we were in Costa Rica, we decided to give it a try. We ended up at a wonderful outdoor restaurant with a raised patio overlooking a nearby pharmacy, surrounded by orange trees, native bushes, flowers, and various farm and wild animals such as chickens, peacocks, and stingless bees. The food was delicious, the beer and tamarind tea were cold, and the outdoor atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming. We can't wait to go back!

The management and staff at this restaurant are very polite and attentive. The waitress happily helped us connect several tables to accommodate our family group, allowing us to comfortably sit on the beautiful terrace with a stunning view of Charrara Lake. The restaurant is in an excellent location, surrounded by orange trees and offering oranges for purchase. The food is always prepared nicely, fresh, and well-presented. We had an overall wonderful experience and definitely plan to return. Dining here provides a great opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal while enjoying the magnificent views of Charrara Lake and the Irazu and Turialba volcanoes.
