I discovered this home restaurant through Groupon. I found it difficult to find it, but obviously it's in a house.... The owner called me out on the location. He seemed to enter my father's house... 70s, beautiful furniture!. We ate on the open terrace excellent pork skewers which unfortunately did not go hand in hand with potatoes. A bit of a waitresss. What Tiziana Marzetti doesn't like about Il Grottino Sant'elpidio A Mare:
We basically went to eat at the family house, but the relatives weren't there! Surely now this type of catering will be fashionable, which you find at home of unknown people, but I personally go out with friends to go to the restaurant then expect to find it! It was probably our magazine that we did not know well before booking, never take anything for granted! Service: Dine in View all feedback.
I brought my partner here for his birthday.... it was the first time for both of us in a home cooking... we start with saying that I took dinner with Groupon... which included 1 appetizer 1 first 1 second (at head) 1 bottle wine The location is not exactly elegant...An old multi-storey house 60/70 years... a little spartan, without heating, and with a somewhat daring retrocucina... but nothing serious is fine... definitely from Rivedere... Let's go to the menu... We had simple starters as you can see in the photo with sliced zucchini cheeses and eggplants, good but normal appetizers, nothing cooked in short... The first we took them different in such a way as to try them and divide them....for her a simple dish of strozzapreti to the ragù (not exceptional) for me gnocchi Messi on a velvety of pumpkin with mushrooms and parsley (sicuramente better), but the best dish of the evening was definitely the parmigiana (with original recipe or aubergine FRITTE) the dessert also good but as declared by them was of a pastry... So the menu itself was good... only two pieces in my opinion... The water is served in glass bottles without labels or other... and in my opinion it is wrong.... according to my partner asked a Coke Cola... but it was served just 1 glass of coke... I think it was right maybe to bring a can... or better nothing... seen also the price of 3€... another painful note the fact that the first having taken them different we had to pay a surcharge of 7€! Coffee 2€ per head... considering that the wine was not taken maybe they could at least offer us coca cola....but it's okay so....as experience was positive... but surely I wouldn't come back...

So, I suggest to check that the courses arrive at the same time in the right time and that the drinks are served at the right temperature. Pull me on a little dry
Beautiful experience of Home restaurant... I was fascinated by it, it is a little like eating at the house of friends, in a family environment, do not discourage you if you do not see a sign or an entrance from bar or restaurant I assure you that behind that door of common home there are delicacies ready to amaze you.
