It is one of the best seafood lobster places I know. The service is an example. Good for a long meal, lunch or dinner, but also for a quick bite, like we did last time. Goose barnacles, superb prawns, excellent wine selection and to...finish the hiper good meat sandwich. The Michelin guide describes a star restaurant as exceptionally good and worth a detour. Well, we drive k just to go there.....! View all feedback.

I have given this restaurant a star, but I think it needs a little more to make it better. Food- We has arroz do marisco.Tasty but felt it was too soupy.Would have like less liquid. Nice though! Restaurant -tables were very close together. Not...very private. tables in a line, needs rearranging. The restaurant itself was modern and well decorated. Unfortunately there were no windows, that you could look out from and this felt a bit claustrophobic, although there was not much to see outside as the restaurant was in an out of the way residential area and could be driven past quite easily. Staff though were attentive and polite.
My husband I had an excellent dinner on June, tasty succulent clams followed by just as tasty tiger prawns lobster, guess what just as tasty cheesecake after! All with a very good bottle of recommended white wine Lagoalva. A great...restaurant good food helpful, efficient friendly service. If we are ever back in the area would definitely go to Chapa again.
Great food, Great service! Everything fresh. Large variety of seafood, prepared fast and delicious. Highly recommended.
We stopped in Chapa on our way north for a dinner and we’ve been very pleasantly surprised! It’s a very cosy neighbourhood place in Santarém but the food is just outstanding so delicious and well cooked. We’ve seen watertanks with the seafood in...the hall so everything is super fresh. House wine turned out to be very decent as well. The service is very friendly and the menu in English definitely helps. Totally recommend for all seafood/fish lovers for both lunch and dinner, it’s worth a little reroute!
