I do not rate as five stars often but this little gem , hidden Away in an upmarket hostel is worth five stars as I always base my star rating on quality/ price ratio. For aound €40 I had two glasses of white wine, two Japanese “Bau” streetfood style steamed bun with shredded meat inside, followed with tempura prawns and noodles. I requested from the chef a little something that was more central American and he prepared a small appetiser sized crispy plantain basket filled with guacamole and toppeded with shredded duck confit. All of which was freshly prepared and delicious, no frozen dishes from the freezer here! Interesting concept of fusion cuisine and worth driving from Lisbon for a day trip and having a meal here.

Comi a melhor francesinha que já provei até aos dias de hoje Francesinha de Kebab . Já comi em várias casas, incluindo Yuko Tavern e Taberna Belga, que até agora considerava as melhores, contudo esta francesinha surpreendeu-me mesmo, não estava nada à espera !
