O Saloio - Santarém

It was evening. I really wanted to eat. this restaurant in the gasse is the only one that worked. the waiter didn't speak in English at all, but the Portuguese sitting at the bar helped our desire to eat. the result: a whole dorado 9 euro, a mixture of grilled meat 8 euro. very tasty! original Был вечер. Ана хотелось есть.  Матот ресторанчик в переулке единственый, который работал. Афициант слабо говорил совсем нет на английском, но сидящий за барой стойкой португлецитза Очень вкусно!

Excelente restaurante com boa comida, muito bom serviço e simpatia 5 estrelas

We found O Saloio when looking for a bite to eat for ten of us (three adults and seven children) after sightseeing in Santarem. Set back from the road, the simple courtyard at the front does not give you any indication that this will be a great place to eat, but it is. We managed to completely satisfy all of the children 's needs with various pork and beef dishes (all accompanied with fries, rice and vegetables) whilst the ladies had sea bass with the same sides. I ordered the Iberian pork secret ; this was a plate of slightly more fatty pieces of pork but grilled beautifully and full of flavour. I would heartily recommend this restaurant and I am sure that you will find something on the menu to delight you.

Esplêndido. Um restaurante bastante acolhedor, localizado num espaço bastante amplo, com ótimas condições, bem apresentado, com um ambiente bastante envolvedor e familiar. Limpo e organizado. O serviço , desde a receção ao pagamento muito atencioso e perfeccionista. A simpatia e boa disposição reina desde a cozinha até à mesa do cliente. Pode se ouvir o amor dado a cada prato confeccionado. A comida é ótima, perfeitamente confeccionada e na dose certa, não passa fome nem deixa sobras. Excelente. Infelizmente não é fácil de encontrar, mas com calma encontra. Parabéns. Desejo a boa continuação desta casa pois há poucas assim.
