What User doesn't like about Maverik Adventure's First Stop:
Too bad there are no zero stars. Customer service suck. Cashier had 4 people in his register. Instead, he chose a busy job. Then became angry when we had the courage to ask him to check us out. Nasty, evil, evil attitude. View all feedback.
I really enjoy this place! It's always clean, offers great prices, and the staff is consistently friendly. They provide diesel and ethanol-free fuel, along with three types of unleaded gas. They also have air and water available, plus a waste disposal station for RVs.
Unfortunately, there’s no option for zero stars. The customer service was terrible. The cashier had four people waiting at his register, but he chose to prioritize a different task instead. When we finally asked him to help us, he responded with anger. His attitude was rude and downright unprofessional.
I had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! I brought a flyer to gather signatures for a petition to double funding for children's cancer research, and when I asked the ladies at the counter if they could help, they were incredibly kind. They said they would check with the manager and mentioned that while they were willing to post it, they needed permission first. The staff here is genuinely sweet! You walk in as a customer and leave as a friend. Plus, their steak, breakfast bowls, and tacos are absolutely delicious! Thank you, Maverick!
My wife and I regularly go to Maverik stores for gas, drinks, etc. So much that we regularly cash in points for gift cards and other rewards. In some of the shops we are even on a first name basis with their employees. In general, most of the Maverik shops were great, except for the Santaquin. In the Santaquin Store (Store #377) it always seems to be a bevy of problems? from employees to management, from the beverage fountains constantly down or under repair, until even the POS terminals do not work properly. We know that it is not a system-wide problem because most other stores have these problems, but at a much less common price. The Santaquin store is unfortunately the closest to our location, but due to the trouble with a number of problems we will usually drive the few additional miles for a more consistent and better experience. We have made complaints about this store in the past, but little to no succession was given either by the shop manager, the district manager or higher. We assumed that the management had sent the message to the problem(s). I'm here for a POS problem that went terrible wrong. About a week ago, my wife and I went to the Santaquin shop to get drinks when we met a problem with the POS terminal. It happened before, so it wasn't a surprise that it happened again. My wife checked if the prosecution came from the account (what it did) and rejected the receipt, then went on her way. The cashier behind the counter continued to chase my wife out of the store and claimed she allegedly didn't pay for the drinks my wife told her otherwise. After some words, we left the premise. So almost a week later (today) we go back to the same store and get drinks as usual just to discover that my wife had been banned from the store. My wife told them that it was a POS transaction failure and that the charges had already come. We're gone. A few hours later, we got a knock at the door from a local police, which made us realize that the Santaquin shop demanded that we don't come back. Otherwise, it would be considered a transfer and that further legal measures would be taken! I asked for a copy of the citation number the officer gave to me. So here's the story. Are we banned from a gas station via a .99 cent drink? Is that really how small a facility can be? NINETY-NINE ZENTENTEN?? Well, I'm nowhere to get her in the air. For love for everyone and all things reasonable, do you NOT HAVE TO THIS STORE? Only these, I ask. All other Maverik stores were good if not great. This (Santaquin #377) was? Put your hands down? The WORST ever! They weren't always like that, I like to admit. But last year and a half, their overall quality, efficiency and BASIC ability to work without problems was mad! Go to one of the other Maverik stolen
This store continues to be the cleanest and most well kept Maverik I've ever been in. Hats off to management of this store for continuing to impress... Especially in cleanliness.... (NOTE: I may have discovered the reason this place is always sparkly clean.... I stopped really early one a.m. when noone was around except for a single employee named Johnathan... Wow... I wish I could figure a way to instill even half of the work ethic I saw in Johnathan as he went about cleaning and peepping the store for the day. It was clear he took pride in his work, being particularly attentive to store cleanliness... Easy off/on I-15.... Accommodate Trucks RVs, Etc.with newer truck station added in rear.
