AS STATED IT IS A VERY BASIC PLACE BUT THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND REALLY HELPFUL WITH LIMITED ENGLISH. THE MENU WAS 3 COURSE AND THEY HELPED EXPLAIN THE OPTIONS. IT WAS 20 EURO FOR THE TWO OF US AND THAT INCLUDED A BOTTLE OF WINE. BARGAIN .....

I assume there must have been several complaints from some regulars. Brcause now i dont need to rely upon the retired owners presence to enjoy a good meal!! Its so popular now, i find i have to get there before 2.15 to get a table and avoid a long wait! Recommendation the novilla (the beef steak)

Me and my partner decided to have the day meal deal for 9€ and I can say that the taste was great and portions were so big. The deal included bread, drinks and desserts. It’s the ideal place if you’re really hungry and want to eat something typical. We will return for sure. Well done.

The owner has retired. i concluded that if you want a bigger portion you have to ensure he is there(he visits the place from time to time, possibly on fridays). I went there with my wife on a friday recently and it was ott service, they couldn´t do enough for you, eg asking you if everything was ok, big plates like they used to be. then i noticed why, the ex boss, or father was there eating with friends. Went back mid week, the ex boss wasnt there, and the service wasnt that good, plus the portions had shrunk!!
