we visited this nice place twice for a lunch and actually can say it's the best place around for eat and relax. They have quite varied menu different from others, we tried lamb burger, double burger, some different steaks, fish and shrimps, everything was really delicious and fresh! My recommendation! What Damian V doesn't like about Quinta Levada Do Rei:
Ridiculously expensive. After doing the Levada walk nearby we grabbed a coffee and a hamburger. The cost $19 Euro. The quality of the coffee was very good and the hamburger was tasty, but the burger had very little filling. CHECK PRICES BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING!!!!! View all feedback.
We had parked near the cafe in order to walk the Levada do Rei, on a glorious day in April,so took the opportunity after the walk, to relax and refresh. The service was good and the prices fair as we had coffee, cold drinks and freshly made dessert. The small garden is worth visiting itself with peacocks, frogs and dragonflies as well as the the nearby lemon grove. Just a great little place. twinkles.sour.unplugged
Small family operated restaurant at the start of Levada do Rei. Friendly straff speaking good English. Good food of perfect size.
Stopped in here before our leaves walk, poncha was fresh and I’ve drunk a few and this is one of the nicest lemon(fisherman) ponchas I’ve had, people really friendly plus we got a free sample of passion fruit poncha
Very tasty food, good atmosphere. Home made lemonade was fantastic. Totally worth to come here.
