After sightseeing Faial Village, we had lunch here in Santana. Dino, our guide, called ahead for reservations. We sat at a table on the terrace, which exposed us to annoying smokers next to us. One server was overworked, and it took a while to get to take our orders. However, once I tasted the oven roasted lamb with potatoes, I forgot about it and settled in for fine eating. My wife remembered the trout farm nearby and ordered a grilled whole trout. With two coffees, we paid a total of 31 E a bargain.
