Josie's Hideout Saloon - Santa Ysabel

I went to this restaurant for lunch with some friends. On Friday and Sunday evenings, there are live bands playing. It's a great spot to escape from the daily grind. I ordered the cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly, and also tried the sprouts. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There are plenty of seats available, both near the music and in front of the band. For those who prefer indoor seating, Josie's has that option as well. They also sell T-shirts at the restaurant. It's a wonderful place to unwind and relax after a long journey, perfect for those looking to refresh themselves with some local cuisine.

I happened upon this restaurant by chance while searching for a place to eat. They only serve breakfast, so we decided to try the breakfast burrito and the fries. The breakfast fries were delicious! This place has a quirky atmosphere that seems to appeal to a certain crowd. They also host live bands on specific events or days. It's a cool spot to check out if you're in the area.

This restaurant has a great bar and delicious food, but there is a bit too much biker theme for my liking. However, the atmosphere is beautiful. The prices are a bit high - I spent $18 on a cowboy burger with bacon, cheese, onion rings, and BBQ sauce, along with fries. The live music was a nice touch. The small beer glasses add to the biker aesthetic. There is a small parking lot above the road for cars so you won't miss it.

Great eating and so a fun place to listen to music and chill

Stumbled upon this heading out of Julian with my car club. We pulled over off the 79 for a photo opportunity when one of our members spotted the sign for beer. Being a Sunday afternoon, he made a beeline! I hadn't ever ever seen this place before but it was awesome. Clean, great music, friendly staff, good selection, and super neat indoor/outdoor blend. The fireplace was so cool, and it was a 40° day so the warmth really helped. We came in around 11 or so and got to hang out before it got really popular. Live music and a whole bunch of bikers, pretty neat people watching! This is a known biker bar and if I had a bike I'd be here too. Super cool spot I will definitely be coming back to now and again when I head up to Julian. Highly recommend stopping in for a drink and some live music.
