We found this place by chance when we put into Porto Pozzo on our boat last year an excellent and well protected anchorage by the way. The restaurant is next to the beach by the pontoon at the head of the inlet. We went there twice and it was very busy both times full of Italian holidaymakers and locals who clearly rated it highly. It was obvious why. Really good local food, well cooked, and very reasonably priced, as was the wine. By no means fine dining but good fun. I recommend it if you are in the area.
After a day cruising the sea and exploring the fantastic islands and underwater nature of Sardegna...it is great to relax and to reflect on the adventures of the day. Ristorante Porto Pozzo Battino is a unique location...fish fresher than fresh prepared on the BBQ and all kinds of seafood as an appetizer...great wine...please make sure you make a reservation as the restaurant is always full!
