I could not sta... read more The room was very unclean. VERY. The towels smell badly, the wardrobe even worse.. maybe fungus or mold.. The carpet was dirty, I wanted to cry. I could not stay even for a 1 night. The owner: old lady did not return money, eventhough she did nothing to prepare room. First time happened to me.

The inn is... read more We stayed in Corniolo (an excellent starting point for trekking to the Calla Pass or Campigna) and this inn was a wonderful and unexpected discovery! The inn is historic, with a stunning common/dining area featuring a fireplace, coffered ceilings, and an overall very comfortable atmosphere. The immaculately clean rooms and bathrooms are spacious and have clearly been renovated, as they are new. The breakfast was plentiful, with homemade cakes, yogurt, juices, and everything else you could wish for. Thank you also so much for the wonderful trek to Monte Falco and Monte Falterona, which the owner kindly recommended to us!

Fantastic cuisine, tagliatelle with delicious wild boar ragù, generous portions, even too generous. Not to mention the inn's dessert, excellent. Thank you so much. I highly recommend it.

Cristina, the owner,... read more Extremely late, I'm finally taking a break and relaxing by writing this review, which dates back to New Year's Eve and January 1st and 2nd. Cristina, the owner, made us feel at home right away and took care of us with delicious food and great attention. The inn is a welcoming place with a large fireplace that warms the heart and soul as well as the body. It's a timeless place, ideal for a break from the routine, yet close to so many magical places to visit. The prices are also truly excellent! I recommend it to anyone looking for human warmth!
