Spectacular pizza! Excellent dough, fragrant and soft at the same time, quality toppings, high and soft crusts, perfect cooking. The gluten-free pizzas are also excellent. The service was also very friendly and quick. When you have to eat a pizza with a capital P, you can't help but go to the Officina della pizza. Seeing is believing. Super recommended!

Pizzas for all tastes! Fresh, quality ingredients and the skill of the pizza maker contribute to the success of an excellent pizza.... Even the appetizers are good and presented in a modern way. The staff is courteous and professional. One star off for lack of parking

Went for an early pizza dinner on our first night in Vasto (party of 9 5 adults and 4 kids). We asked for a table at the covered patio which was quite empty at the time and were told it was not available as it was booked for a private party. Later quests who clearly didn't know one another was give tables in the area. We saw no private party. We were seated in a more secluded area which along the wall of the building; still outside and not bad. Except that the staff forgot we were even there. We literally had search out wait staff every time we wanted to order something. It was clear that the staff were inexperienced and could not keep up. We ordered antipasto and the staff didn't bother to take all orders at the same time. We ordered 3 times before all of us got an antipasto. As our main course some of us had pizza and others pasta. The pasta and pizza were delivered at different times (at least 15 minutes apart). That meant some of us ate while others watched. The pizza was soggy and unappetizing. We finally ordered 4 ice creams for the kids. The first 2 arrived the last 2 never did. We gave up paid our bill of 104 Euro. We left no tip for the staff and they didn't even care. WHAT AN ORDEAL.

...is testimony in itself to this restaurant. The food is very good from an extensive menu, and the staff friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is VERY Italian, and benefits from that. One tip though ensure that you have not eaten much before you go to this Trattoria, because the portions served are, let's say very adequate! Star turn is the pizza twirling chef, who performs his act each evening when he is on duty. It even seems to amaze the locals!

My wife, 3 year old daughter and I went to this restaurant after it had been recommended to us. We arrived early, before the crowds, and found the waitress serving us was less than the attentive welcoming staff we've come to expect on our travels in Italy. It took 10 minutes for her to come back to bring us the menu (after asking her to) and take our drinks order. It was clear that this was above average priced. We ordered bruscheta starter (excellent) and then pizza and 2 rissottos. The pizza came and was great, but the rissottos took over an hour to arrive. When they eventually came they were so bland, so packet like we just couldn't eat them. I cook, and I know all the challenges of preparing rissotto ie how slow, how the stock is important, how to get the right consistency etc. Well this was down right poor the stock was nothing more than water it seemed. But worst of all for us was the indifferent attitude of our waiter... A nice looking restaurant, some good food but don't go for the rissotto, and be sure to not accept poor waiters.
