Service, food, price and friendliness were all as good as you can get. Definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants ever. Be sure to make a reservation... we got lucky! They were packed on a Monday night. View all feedback.
What Lana Williams doesn't like about Borago:
We can't believe we haven't visited this restaurant sooner! We don't have an answer as to why, but we do know we will be returning frequently as locals. We were extremely impressed with the variety of options on the menu, the excellent quality of the food, the specialty drinks, and the attentive service. The only downside we encountered was the loud noise level. Unfortunately, we would hesitate to bring our elderly m... View all feedback.
Best Italian dinner on 30A. Italian food is the culinary language of passion and love, and nowhere does it better than Borago. Their fresh ingredients and rich flavors provide the savory experience you keep coming back for. Pros: attentive service experienced and knowledgeable staff fresh ingredients authentic flavors original elements to every dish excellent menu artisan wines tasteful atmosphere experienced and accommodating kitchen thoughtful management Cons: expensive for the US, not for the area occasionally very busy loud no reservations over 8 people not many seasonal offerings
We eat at Borago?s twice a year and are never disappointed. The quality and quantity is always there which is rare. Usually it is just one or the other. I won?t mention what we ordered because I feel you will enjoy any of the menu items. I do like the fact that you can select from the Primi menu and get a dinner size meal. Last, but not least is the service. Always very professional but are willing to stop and talk or take your photo etc. This visit we met a young man named Dominic. They are lucky to have him serving their customers. He is friendly, attentive and and makes you feel special.
It's eclectic. It's minimalist chic. The Arugula Salad with candied walnuts and goat cheese is to die for. I tried Chicken Piccata, and it was excellent too. Jaren, my server, was very good! Great food, but the dining room is really loud.
Borago is a fantastic restaurant. I will probably update my review after I try more dishes. The one I always get is the Priscilla. It is an off menu item. It is a creamy Bolognese based sauce served on angel hair pasta. I also really enjoy the bread. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes.
We had the mushroom ravioli appetizer? it was amazing! The Caesar salad and arugula salad also amazing! The grouper and the shrimp pasta were fantastic!! Hearty portions you could split if you wanted to. Luke was our waiter and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about wine and very attentive! We will Be back!!! If you haven?t been, you need to!!
