This is a family-owned restaurant that creates a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for a family gathering or simply enjoying a coffee and newspaper. The food quality here surpasses what you would typically find at chain breakfast spots, and the staff truly values you as a guest, rather than just a table number. If you’re looking for a poor experience with subpar food, you might as well go to Denny's. But if you want to savor a delightful family breakfast, you know the right place to choose.
The California Eggs Benedict has an incredible flavor that embodies the essence of comfort food, making you feel like a truly satisfied diner. Pair it with a slice of roasted sourdough toast to savor every last bite, and you'll leave feeling completely content.
The staff here is very friendly, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. Be sure to check out the Henne exhibits—they're a must-see!
Great food. Great service. I was not rudely asked to set up a mask before I was even greeted like most space in the area. My server was friendly and attentive. It's a bit expensive, but it's probably everywhere in California.
Great chicken fried steak and eggs! I really enjoyed it, fast service and the folks there really make you feel at home. Great coffee, and lots of it. I'd highly recommend the Happy Hen for a hearty breakfast.
