Tamales Mana - Santa Rosa

This restaurant on Petaluma Hill Road in southern Santa Rosa is a fantastic spot for tamales. They offer a variety of savory and sweet tamales that are all excellent, with flavorful and light masa that is not heavy or bland. The accompanying salsas are spicy and delicious, but we often find that the tamales are perfect on their own and don't need any extra toppings.

The best tamales in town! The atmosphere is authentic and the service is friendly. They deserve a perfect 5-star rating in every category. The food is also top-notch, rated 5 out of 5.

Every time I have visited Mana, a kind man has approached me and respectfully assisted me. However, on a few occasions, a rude woman was there and treated people poorly. Although she did not treat me rudely, she lacked patience when serving customers. She appears to be the owner, but she should show more respect to her customers. If you are looking for authentic tamales, there is a man who sells them every morning in front of LOLAs on Petaluma Hill Road and they are amazing!

I was actually going to the Asian Market next door, when I saw Tamales Mana and decided to give them a try. I got the Jalapeno Cheese and Red Chili Pork, because I was told they were the spiciest ones. The tamales were very well made. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the lack of spice. For those who like milder food, they'll love this place. The red salsa that came with the tamales lacked heat and could use more salt.

Best tamales around, we drive 25 mins every time to get them. They remind me about my grandma's tamales.They have different kinds and they all have a great taste you can't go wrong with these tamales.
